The Wattle Fellowship invites Melbourne’s climate and sustainability community to an inspiring evening of connection, conversation and collaboration.

Designed for people working and volunteering in climate, energy, nature and sustainability, as well as those who are passionate about creating positive change, the event brings together a diverse community of thinkers, innovators and changemakers.

Hear from guest speakers including Linh Do, Dr Kaushik Sridhar, Catherine Curry, Dr Susanne Etti and Phoebe Rountree as they share insights on the ideas and actions shaping a more sustainable future.

Formerly a professional tennis player, Dr Sridhar is the Founder of Orka Advisory, a boutique consultancy that partners with individuals and organisations locally and globally to develop and implement impactful sustainability projects. Kaushik advises organisations on sustainability strategies, sustainability reporting, net zero emissions, and human rights working closely with CEOs and senior executives. Kaushik is also a strategic advisor, mentor and coach for various tech and startup companies around the world.

Catherine Curry

Director, Sustainability – Development, Design & Construction

Catherine has over 18 years’ experience in the property industry, primarily in the medium density and residential land development space. She has worked across all facets of the property development lifecycle and has extensive experience in delivery of low and medium-density residential projects, including creation of community infrastructure covering open space, retail and community facilities. Catherine leads the engagement and delivery of Mirvac’s sustainability objectives across Mirvac’s development portfolio.

Frankey Chung-Kok-Lun is a Chinese-Mauritian writer drawn to the intersection of nature, humanity, and ethics. Through essays, poetry, and visual exhibitions, he explores non-human perspectives and the boundaries of empathy. Frankey is a Wattle Fellowship alumnus.

General Manager of Climate, Intrepid

Susanne Etti is a passionate environmental advocate with a PhD in Natural Science. As Intrepid’s General Manager of Climate, she leads the company’s climate performance, reporting, risk management and decarbonisation initiatives, embedding climate action across the business. Susanne champions a culture of climate consciousness throughout the organisation and is widely recognised as an industry leader in helping drive the travel sector toward a lower-carbon future.

Phoebe Rountree

Campaigns Manager

Phoebe Rountree is Campaigns Manager at SIX, Australia's only ethical sharing trading platform, and a proud Gulidjan woman. Prior to joining SIX, Phoebe spent a decade working in environmental NGOs including Australian Youth Climate Coalition, the Climate and Health Alliance and Australian Conservation Foundation, supporting community members to become advocates for climate and nature protection.
