Transforming Infrastructure Performance (TIP) Summit Melbourne 26’

Infrastructure Policy Advancement, Bentley Systems’ thought leadership initiative, in collaboration with our partners, is proud to bring the Transforming Infrastructure Performance (TIP) Summit again to Melbourne – at a critical time for infrastructure planning and delivery across Australia.

Victoria’s infrastructure sector is facing its toughest test yet: How to deliver an ambitious pipeline when the state’s finances are under unprecedented strain. With major projects underway and more on the horizon, the question isn’t just what gets built – it’s how we fund, manage, and deliver smarter.

Across transport, energy, water, housing, and climate resilience, the challenges are significant: Constrained budgets, rising construction costs, and ongoing skills shortages. At the same time, Victoria must accelerate toward net zero targets and maintain public confidence in infrastructure delivery.

The answer lies in transformation – not just projects, but in the way we work. An AI-enabled workforce will outperform a non-AI-enabled workforce, and the sector must embrace this reality to boost productivity and decision-making. Data-driven delivery, smarter contracting models, and digital tools will be critical to unlocking efficiency and transparency.

Labour and skills remain a pressing concern. Building capability for the future means rethinking training, leveraging technology, and creating pathways that attract and retain talent in a competitive market.

TIP Melbourne will bring together leaders from government, industry, and technology to tackle these questions head-on:

  • How do we deliver infrastructure through innovative funding and finance?
  • What does an AI-enabled workforce look like – and how do we get there?
  • How can data, contracting innovation, and digital systems reshape delivery?
  • What is the plan for addressing labour and skills shortages?

Join us as we explore the strategies, partnerships, and innovations that will define Victoria’s infrastructure future.
