Lunch and Learn with Phoebe Quinn

Join Phoebe Quinn, Research Fellow at the Melbourne School of Population and Global Health in the Child and Community Wellbeing Unit, as she explores using digital technologies in community decision-making around disasters and climate change. She holds a Master of Public Health (Dean’s Honour List) and is currently pursuing a PhD funded by Melbourne Climate Futures and Natural Hazards Research Australia, focusing on public engagement and climate resilience.

Her research explores how digital democracy tools can support communities in addressing complex and divisive issues. Drawing on both her academic work and real-world case studies, Phoebe will demonstrate how these tools have been effectively used to build consensus and inform policy on today’s most pressing challenges.
