Damien is also Deputy Director, Sustainability in the Australian Research Council's Training Centre for Resource Efficient Alloys in a Circular Economy and the Program Leader for Circular Economy within the Solving Plastic Waste Cooperative Research Centre whose mission is to change the way we design, use and reuse plastics.

Founder, After
Yesha launched After in 2021 after a personal wardrobe cleanout revealed a glaring gap in the system – there was nowhere to send clothing too worn to donate. Since then, After has grown into a multi-city operation across Melbourne, Sydney and Auckland, partnering with organisations including Lorna Jane, Bec + Bridge and Moonee Valley City Council, and has diverted over 130,000kg of textiles from landfill.
